MicroHouse
In light of the housing crisis and sprawl from the city, a new form of housing is emerging that allows for comfort and efficiency in budget and space. Looking toward inclusivity, this project forms its own community out of the MicroHouse for low income or homeless people to give them a support system through socialization and freedom through integrated produce gardens to increase independence.

MicroHouse looks to the traditional gabled roof of its Detroit neighborhood which conforms yet stands out within its contextual typology while only being 700 sqft. Visual connections were important to allow the resident to connect to the outside in order to develop the expansiveness of this tiny home.
