To understand the impacts of a site on a design we looked at one block of a street in the Chicago neighborhood of Bridgeport and aimed to condense it into one collage. The compressed information was then used to produce a model for this collage that embodies the qualities of the site. The numerous unused industrial buildings on this block was greatly contrasted by the new homes being built in the middle of it. The old was seen as the building blocks for the new where the layers of changing context upheld a unique foundation for the new development.
